The health, safety and wellbeing of our school community (both children and staff) is important to us. We take our safeguarding responsibilities very seriously and you can view our Safeguarding (incorporating Child Protection) policy.
Safeguarding (incorporating Child Protection)
If you have concerns about a child, you can approach our Designated Safeguarding Lead, Mr Jon Hughes, jonathanhughes@downsinf.brighton-hove.sch.uk. Out of school hours please contact Front Door For Families. If your concern is about a member of staff, please contact the Headteacher or the LADO (Local Authority Designated Officer). Please note that all these routes of reporting are available even if school is closed.
From January 2023 our Designated Safeguarding Lead will be Miss Aisha Hoten. Her e-mail is aishahoten@downsinf.brighton-hove.sch.uk.
Our mental health lead is Mr Phil Jones.
We have gathered these resources which may help you to help your child.
